This hotel is advertised as a 3 star property, and it failed spectacularly at that mid level goal. The beds are horrid, unacceptable, hard, and lumpy. So bad we considered sleeping on the chairs or leaving for another hotel for fear of pain in the morning. Luckily we packed a whole bottle of Advil. When we asked the front desk for another room they said they didn't have anything better. When we asked if they had mattress toppers they didn't have any. When we asked for extra blankets, they said they didn't have any. The hotel was not sold out. Our sheets were stained with blood. We asked for housekeeping to come and do the room, the sheets remained. Walls are paper thin. We could hear every room around it and the street. Finally the TV did not even have a guide. You had to flip through the channels one by one. Mini fridge is present but empty. I worked for a year in Marriott's reservation department. I understand the hospitality industry and what is asked of hotels. I have deep empathy for the front desk workers. However The St. Charles Coach House failed at almost every level and again when given the chance to make up for those failures. If we return to New Orleans it will never be at this property.

Absolute comfort! The bed is one of the best I've ever slept in a hotel. Bright lights, space to work.||Not sure St. Charles was the best location for me but overall fabulous hotel, huge rooms and comfortable bath.

Short walk to Garden District. Plenty of restaurants to walk to. Rooms large for being in the city. Parking on-site. Water pressure for the shower was amazing! Bed comfortable. Pillows weren't as comfortable as would have liked. Fell in love with the wallpaper in the elevator. Now, to locate it.

Nice hotel for a good price due to off season. Was a little concerned about secured parking when I pulled up especially since I have a tall van but their garage was able to accommodate. Only issue was the garage never closed the doors at night as they said it would. Friendly staff and right on sSt Charles street was a plus.

Good location and nice employees. 3 stars because room had a mild tobacco smell. The thick bed sheet had a small blood stain and looked dirty, room service changed them quickly. Part of the carpet next to the coffee machine was very wet.
